About Jackie
My name is Jackie Das, and I call myself a Someday Ambassador because my life has been built on bold decisions, reinventions, and leaps into the unknown. I was born in the UK, but in 1999 I packed up my life - and my two kids - and moved to the USA. Since then, I’ve been through a series of Somedays……
Someday, I want a change of career. So in my late forties, I reinvented myself completely, shifting from Finance to Project Management.
Someday, I want to stop being terrified of speaking in front of people. So I joined Toastmasters shaking with nerves — and fear turned into transformation. I went on to win speaking contests at national level.
Someday, I want to play the violin - something everyone said was too difficult at my age. So at 50, I started learning and never looked back.
Someday, I want an adventure big enough to change my life. So at 54, I quit my safe job, left my comfortable life in the USA and moved to Hungary on my own — no plan, no guarantees, just a deep yearning for more.
Someday, I want to write a book. So at 62, I wrote and published two.
And at 63, I launched The Someday Movement, a personal mission to help others finally activate the dreams they’ve been postponing.
